History

1912

Founded by Miichiro Matsui in Minami-ku Osaka. Manufacturing of medical and scientific equipment began.

1960

Osamu Matsui became company owner.

1963

Industrial equipment became the primary focus of manufacturing.

1967

Osaka plant was established. 
MATSUI MFG. CO., LTD. incorporated.

1982

Tokyo plant was established.

1986

Companies were established in the United States, Thailand, Singapore and Korea.

1989

Seoul (Korea) office opened. Taiwan office opened.

1992

New plant was established in Thailand. New plant was established in Korea.

1993

MATSUI SDI CO., LTD. was spun off. Malaysia office opened. 
Company was established in ZhangJiagang, China.

1996

Bangkok (Thailand) office opened.

1997

Company was established in Shanghai, China. 
Jakarta (Indonesia) office opened.

1998

Osaka plant obtained ISO 9002 certification (JQA-2262).

1999

Daegu (Korea) office opened.

2000

Osaka plant upgaded to ISO 9001 (JQA-2262).  
Tokyo plant obtained ISO 9001 certification (JQA-4609).
Company was established in Taipei, Taiwan.  
Daejeon (Korea) office opened.

2001

MATSUI obtained company-wide ISO 9001 certification (JQA-2262).  
Osamu Matsui became chairman.
Hironobu Matsui became president.  
Shenzhen (China) office opened.  
Tianjin (China) office opened.

2003

Suzhou (China) office opened.

2004

Hangzhou (China) office opened.  
Guangzhou (China) office opened.

2005

MATSUI MFG. CO., LTD. and MATSUI SDI CO., LTD. obtained ISO 14001 certification (JQA-EM4821).
Hanoi (Vietnam) office opened.

2006

Hanau (Germany) office opened.  
Dalian (China) office opened.  
Company was established in Noida, India.

2007

Amata Nakorn (Thailand) office opened.

2008

Qingdao (China) office opened.  
Wenzhou (China) POSS opened.

2009

Wuhan (China) office opened.  
Chennai (India) office opened.  
Zhangjiagang (China) moved to the new plant.

2011

Nanjing (China) office opened.  
Banglore (India) office opened.
Greater Noida (India) plant was established.  
Changchun (China) office opened.
Yantai (China) office opened.  
Pune (India) office opened.

2012

Sao Paulo (Brazil) office opened.  
Kyoto (Japan) Logistics Center opened.  
Dongguan (China) office opened.

2013

Queretaro (Mexico) office opened.

2014

Mumbai (India) office opened.

Manila (Philippines) office opened.

2017

Cheon-an (Korea) office opened.
