News of Judgment in Patent Infringement Injunction Case

In 2008, the Company filed a patent infringement injunction lawsuit with the Osaka District Court, alleging that the liquid hopper (Note) manufactured and sold by Kawata Mfg. Co., Ltd. infringed the Company's patent rights. As a result, on February 21, 2013, the Osaka District Court handed down the judgment (hereinafter referred to as the "final judgment").
In this judgment, the Osaka District Court acknowledged that Kawata Co., Kawata Mfg. Co., Ltd. 's fluid hopper infringed the Company's patent rights, and ordered Kawata Mfg. Co., Ltd., Ltd. to stop manufacturing and selling the fluid hopper and to pay damages.
The Company has determined that the liquid hopper of Kawata Mfg. Co., Ltd. infringes the Company's patent rights, ordered an injunction and compensation for damages, and added a declaration of provisional execution to the judgment. We believe that the allegations of

Note: A fluidized hopper is a device that agitates and fluidizes plastic molding materials pneumatically transported from a dryer or the like at the Receiver to mix and remove fine powder.
